align_image_stack available for OSX

align_image_stack is one of the beautiful, atomic functionalities of hugin: it takes a number of unaligned shots as input and aligns them perfectly. Very useful pre-processing to enfuse a bracket of handheld or monopod shots, such as those used by Gilles Vidal for his Airbus panorama.

align_image_stack has been available for a long time for Linux and Windows users. It is used by some of Erik Krause’s droplets to automate the alignment and fusing process.

Harry van der Wolf has just released a version of align_image_stack for OSX. Find it in the tester section of the download page.
