Nuclear Fusion. With all the photons flying around, an endless source of light. High dynamic range. Last weekend, inspired by Michel Thoby’s experiments in the oven, I went out at -15°C to another kind of oven. Unfortunately it’s interior will become accessible only in the spring, but there was enough dynamic range and shadow outside. Set the old Canon 350D on a tripod. Sigma 8mm @ F/32 ISO-100 and started shooting a bracket in 1/2 EV increments from 1/4000 s up to 1/3 s. I had the camera set to shoot RAW+JPEG and I fed the JPEGs right out of the camera and into enfuse. No further processing. This is the result. Unedited.
