With all this build and testing I have not been stitching leisure panoramas for a while. This one I did with the latest hugin SVN2821 which I shall pack into an installer and publish very soon – I’m still attempting to get Bruno’s match’n’shift code to work within the Windows version of Hugin. It works from the command line with Perl installed, but we can’t ask common Windows users to install Perl and fiddle with other scripting. So it will either be usable from the Hugin GUI or it will wait.
Linked from the above thumbnail is a resized version. The original is over 17.000 pixels wide. It was taken with a cheap, lens, so at 100% it does not look as good as I’d like. But even at 50% it’s still more than 8.000 pixels wide, and look like this excerpt:
So, enough playing, time to conclude the experiments with match’n’shift and build the next installer, with or (most likely) without it.
