One decade of financial readings, Lifesavers at airports, on planes, on trains, and on the occasional sleepless night. 22 Kg of dead trees. Since the whole archive is available online it does not make sense to move them to our new place. Recycled.
At some point I’ll download all the PDFs into some sort of reader, although I am still waiting on the fence for the one that fits my requirements. I like very much eInk’s bistable reflective displays used in the majority of first generation reader, but I’m waiting for color, larger form factor, higher resolution, and slightly faster response time than the current generation of readers. Apple seems to have got the form factor right with the iPad, but the display technology is IPS. I use an IPS display for working with Photoshop and it has excellent color rendition, but for reading I still prefer dead trees. Or bistable reflective displays if they could add color.
Give me an iPad with a 1680×1260 (216ppi) color bistable reflective display and I’ll consider buying it.
