Cookie Factory in Production Again

It’s that time of the year once again and the cookies factory is ramping up production.  But this years production is slow.  I have a trainee.

School was closed over the last three days due to the 100cm+  snow storm.  I had no choice but to reschedule business meetings and spend the days with him.  Baking.  Nevertheless, production won’t be enough to satisfy demand this year.  I promised already last year to a friend that I would “open source” my recipes.  I plan to do so over the next few weeks.  Stay tuned!

  1. Love the second shot. He looks so happy pounding that dough.

  2. Thanks for sharing these great photo’s! In the second photo it looks as if the trainee was also the taster!!! We will look forward to seeing his culinary skills in action in the classroom next week.

  3. Glad to see the delicious cookie tradition being passed down! My favorite are the anise cookies! Please find me on Facebook.

  4. Dear Yuval, great pictures, wish I could taste the cookies! Lots of love from Joe and me. We have a sad x-mas, as Joe’s dad has gone… will write in the new year.

  5. @habi: Yes, we’re blessed with a happy chappy.

@Shonagh: No worries, the sink and the soap are not far away and he had a hand-washing break.

@Kim: I don’t do Facebook. Sorry can’t mail cookies over the border, the US customs do not allow such dangerous goods through and when trying to mail them they disappear misteriously.

@Jacqueline: My sympathies. Sorry for your loss. Hold on to the good memories. May next year be better for you.
